Cellulite Treatments

Cellulite, although harmless affects 90 – 95% of woman over the age of 30.

Cellulite occurs when the skin overlying certain areas of fat is pulled downward to the deeper tissues by connective tissue bands. This creates an uneven surface.

Cellulite is commonly found on:

  • hips
  • thighs
  • abdomen
  • buttocks

Cellulite is caused by a buildup of fat underneath the skin. Some women are more predisposed to it than others. The amount of cellulite you have and how noticeable it is can be based on your genes, body fat percentage, and age. The thickness of your skin also affects the appearance of cellulite. People of all body types and weights can get cellulite.

Hardened collagen fibers between the skin and muscle separate the underlying fat into multiple pockets which present the orange peel look.  Cellulite can become more visible as you age and your skin becomes thinner and loses elasticity. This exposes the rippled connective tissues underneath.

Cellulite may be caused by:

  • hormones
  • poor diet
  • an unhealthy lifestyle
  • accumulated toxins
  • genetics
  • weight gain
  • inactivity
  • pregnancy

We have found that the most effective treatments for cellulite is a combination of Radio Frequency, Ultra Sound and Needle-free injections.

EXILIS ELITE is a combination of mono polar radio frequency and ultra-sound which has been FDA approved to heat the deep dermal layers causing the breakdown of fat and remodelling of the collagen of connective tissue which causes the ‘orange peel look’.

NEEDLE – FREE INJECTIONS (mesotherapy) does exactly what it says.  Injections without needles, which makes the procedure much less painful but just as effective.  Our MBX needle free system uses  a complex combination of active ingredients from the FUSION range which is formulated by a company in France.

Normalises lipolytic activity
Moisturises and firms the skin
Improves lymphatic and microcirculation
Tightens & firms the skin

We combine our cellulite treatments starting off with the Exilis Treatment, followed by a 30 minute lymphatic drainage massage.  A week later, you will come in for your needle-free mesotherapy.  You may need between 2 and 3 sessions of each depending on the severity of your cellulite.
